The project is located in the rural area of the Western part of Kenya. The potential of this mine is untapped. For years artisanal activities have be been established in few areas with occasional (shafts) from surface pitting, carting the ore to nearby custom millers for processing. The major reason is being under-capitalization.
Cynosure has embarked on this exciting exploration which will further increase resources and mine development in the area.
