The project is located in the Western part of Kenya.  The potential of this mine is virtually untapped. For years intermittent artisanal activities have seen the establishment of shallow occasional (shafts) from surface pitting, carting the ore to nearby custom millers for processing. The major reason being under capitalization and low-level mining skills. Cynosure has embarked on this exciting exploration journey to increase resources and mine development in the area.
